Five from Hacienda Heights Injured in Night Crash
It was early morning, near 2am, in Manhattan Beach. The night unfortunately is a time that many lose control of their vehicles, and a time where people are a little less vigilant. Some people assume that since there are not as many other vehicles on the road at night they don’t need to pay attention. Accidents don’t need to have other people associated with them. They can be single car crashes, caused by a few moments of distraction on an otherwise perfect ride.
This is what happened for five people from the Hacienda Heights area. The crash apparently was caused by the driver losing control and colliding with a street light on the sidewalk. The driver was 21 and had some major injuries, injuries that she almost immediately died from. Four others who were in the vehicle were transported for injuries, but their condition is not known. Identities are being withheld, but that still doesn’t mask the severity of the injuries and the tragedy which took place so late at night. Sepulveda Boulevard will forever hold a place for the surviving family members. Who is going to pay those medical bills that have come up for the survivors? Is it a simple insurance claim?
