Fiery Car Crash Aftermath
Paul Walker’s friends and supporters gathered at a large memorial at the site of the fiery car crash which took the life of the “Fast and Furious” actor and his friend, Roger Rodas, in Valencia. At the makeshift memorial, they offered flowers, candles and DVDs as well as loving messages in memory of the famous actor who thrilled their hearts.
On November 30th at approximately 3:30 p.m., Walker and his friend died in a single-car crash near Rye Canyon Loop and Kelly Johnson Parkway. According to reports, they left an event for Walker’s charity Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Soon after leaving in Rodas’ red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, the driver lost control, the car crashed into a light pole and tree, then burst into flames. They were declared dead at the scene; authorities determined that Rodas was driving the car, while Walker was the passenger. The driver died of multiple traumatic injuries, while the late actor died of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.
