Man Allegedly Kills Wife at Work
Arguments happen all the time, especially between people who are in relationships. Those arguments can be about respect, money, or any one of a number of things. Arguments, no matter how severe, are not a license for either party to kill.
Maybe it was the 16 year age difference between 55 year old Pedro Enrique Duquesne and Nelly Kantun. Maybe it was that he said that she was disrespecting him. Whatever the reasons, Mr. Duquesne admits that he shot and killed Kantun where she worked at the Domino’s Pizza in San Bernardino.
She had multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. While Kantun was rushed to the hospital, she was nearly immediately pronounced dead. The security guard next door, Kybree Edmond, saw Kantun stagger out of the Dominos and collapse. “When I saw her lying there, I just went into shock a little bit. She was there gasping for air, fighting for her life,” said Edmund.
The suspect drove away in a black Honda Accord, one which was eventually located. The suspect was taken into custody immediately thereafter. Reports say that the suspect didn’t mean to kill Ms. Kantun.
