DOJ and County Officers Seize More than 450 lbs. of Meth

U.S. Customs & Border ProtectionOn television, many times the cases presented by prosecutors are airtight, with evidence that is irrefutable. This is nothing like real life. People who are arrested for a crime have the same right to be heard and their testimony should count for just as much as that of the prosecution. This equal treatment does not necessarily come on its own, however. It requires a defense attorney who knows the law from both sides and knows how to best use that knowledge for the wellbeing of his or her client.

More than 450 pounds of methamphetamine have been seized in San Bernardino County by the authorities, resulting in the arrest of two men.

According to the California attorney general’s office, agents with both the state’s Department of Justice and the county sheriff’s office went to a residence in Hinkley to take down what they believed to be a meth lab.

In the end, they found more than 200 pounds of crystal meth and 250 gallons of liquid meth that could be made into well over 1,000 pounds of crystal meth. According to authorities, the combination could have been worth more than $7 million on the street.

Two men, both residents of Hinkley, were arrested and jailed. They were charged with making and possessing meth for sale.
